Having a work orented layover, and finding the hotels of the Homer municipality mostly booked I inadvertently stumbled upon a luxury accommodation with a quiet comfortable ambiance and a breathtaking Alaskan ocean view. With elevation, the location gives a commanding view of the Homer spit, Kachemak bay, and the mountains and glaciers of the opposing side, and yet still low enough to be subjected to the steady droning of surf crashing and the crisp cool of the oceans salt air. The seaward entries have double doors that open and expose the master bedroom to this outdoor atmosphere and direct to the hot tub and deck lounge area. For feeling remote it can be hard to believe how close the location is to town center, and the end of the spit a pleasant bike ride away. With first rate amenities the sweets are staged to accommodate couples looking to have a few quality moments for themselves. Although traveling by myself I found the peace and quiet rejuvenating and I left my stay renewed as if I had been privy to a small vacation as opposed to a layover for work. I would recommend this stay to any Alaskan couple as is most definitely an experience worth the investment. I myself would like to return one day to share the experience with another. I thank the patrons for creating an opportunity and sharing a piece of their Alaskan dream.

Located in Anchorage, within less than 1 km of William A Egan Civic & Convention Center and a 14-minute walk of Dena ina Civic Convention Center, Snob Hollow Inn Downtown Anchorage provides free WiFi... Was really happy with the size of the room, the cleanliness, the amenities provided, the location, the check-in process was quick and simple and the lady that managed it was extremely friendly! Would not hesitate to stay here again. Location couldn't have been more perfect, just short walk away from the train and everything else in the city. There was even a kettle provided, which was not the standard in most of the accommodations/hotels I stayed in, in Alaska.

Steller Inn features accommodation in Seward, Alaska. Free WiFi is available. At the inn, every room is fitted with a desk. Each room comes with free toiletries, while some rooms include garden views.... We loved our Suite at the Steller Inn. It was well equipped and beautifully furnished. Comfortable bed, hot showers, lovely little balcony at the back to watch the creek go by. Beautiful grounds, it was great to toast marshmallows on the fire by the creek. Maja was a great host, made sure we had everything we needed. We found the Steller to be peaceful yet perfectly located to enjoy and exploited everything the area has to offer. You will need a car to get the most out of a stay at this property.

Set in Seward, Resurrection Lodge on the Bay features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. We stayed in the yurt on the property. It was wonderful! Very nicely appointed and comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning.

I love the warm welcome of Gary and Pam to me and my fanily. The cookies prepared by Pam is fantastic! They made us feel like a family. Highly recommended.

Arctic Dragonfly Inn is located in Healy. The inn provides both free WiFi and free private parking. Guest rooms at the inn are equipped with a seating area. Very comfortable stay and great base for Denali park. Beds were comfortable and large and the kitchen was well equipped.

I have stayed here several times now and this is my number 1 choice when visiting Juneau. The property is a unique treasure. It’s quiet, clean and the location is very convenient. Parking is so easy. The staff is always very kind and professional. The shuttle is very dependable. Just a really great place to stay.
