East to get place, you need to park outside on the road, as locals do. rooms and bathrooms super clean and astonishing amazing view. we had some barbecue with fish and while we had dinner neighbors played music, so it was just amazing vibe.

Everything was perfect. The place was so peaceful, situated in between banana plantations. The sunset views are so beautiful. Rooms have exactly the perfect size. The breakfast was probably one of the best we ever had in any hotel around the world. So well done, everyday there would be a special and the ingredients are mostly locally sourced. Location and privacy - a true gem! Very helpful host. Nice scenery. Pool is not heated. Pool is perfect to cool down in the hot weather. The sun is extremely hot. Especially for April. We travelled and ticked every box in Madeira. I suggest staying here as a base. Nice restaurants near by. Lovely beach and scenery close by also. Having a private parking space helped. Have in mind that the location will need a strong car engine to get up and down.

Blue Ocean Villa is a brand-new home built into the side of the hill in Ponta da Sol. The view was amazing and the villa was spotless. The TV and Wifi worked great and the kitchen was somewhat stocked - we had to ask for salt/pepper and dishwasher/Laundry detergent but that won't be a problem for the next person and the host was very responsive and brought all sorts of stuff. It is comfortable for 4 people - we were a family of 4 with two teen boys. We had plenty of towels and dishes. The location was pretty good - there are a few little snack bars right next door (we didn't try them though) and we got most of our groceries at a gas station just a 5 minute drive down the hill. A car is definitely necessary here but you are in walking distance to a beautiful local church, great views, and two amazing levada hikes - Levada do Moinho and the one above, Levada da Novo (very dangerous and NOT for little kids though). There is a full BBQ and awesome seating outside though we didn't try the BBQ. Overall it was a great stay.
